Australian Commercial Radio Awards

The radio industry’s Oscars

Commercial Radio Australia engage us to produce their largest and most high profile events - Radio Alive, and the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs).

With an audience full of radio personalities, station owners and label representatives, we knew the focus would be equally on the event production as well as the talent. Both had to work perfectly, in order to impress the industry's best.

We engage with all key event suppliers during the tender process to ensure the experience is delivered like never before, this creates important buy-in and brings them into The Collective for the client.

Radio Alive is a four-stream experience with great sessions on a range of topics. Each year the program is full of engaging panel discussions hosted by industry professionals which provide attendees the chance to interact with leading media and radio personalities such as Amanda Keller, Hamish and Andy, Angela Bishop, Communications Minister Mitch Fifield, Carrie Bickmore and Erin Molan. In 2017, Radio Alive featured a special live presentation of ABC's Q&A, hosted by Virginia Trioli.

The Australian Commercial Radio Awards are attended by 1200 members of the radio industry and include over 85 awards, high profile music performances, a multitude of radio presenters, a Hall of Fame inductee, and notable Master of Ceremonies – these have included Amanda Keller, Kelsey Grammer, Sharon Osbourne, Charlie Pickering and, Chris Taylor and Andrew Hansen from The Chaser.  Stand out performances over the years have featured Sheppard, Dean Lewis, The Veronica’s, Guy Sebastian, and Ricki Lee.

We were delighted to receive this email from the client, which we feels says it all...
'I have been inundated today with praise for the ACRAs and that is all thanks to you. The resounding opinion is that it was the best ACRAs ever – both the production and sound was flawless...You run the most professional organisation I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Once again I can’t thank you all enough.'
