Full employee engagement from all levels of the business had been a challenge for this project in past years, but the response from participants at our event was overwhelmingly positive.
We were proud to breathe new life into this existing event by unveiling a creative and dynamic creation, inspired by the client themselves.
We worked closely with HFS to gain an intimate understanding of what they stand for. As a result, we identified three key inspirations - teamwork, camaraderie and a sense of fun. From these insights, we developed a theme entitled ‘Chain Reaction.’
The ‘Chain Reaction’ concept was first introduced to the group through a business content and awards presentation, followed by the reveal of a giant bespoke ‘mouse trap’ style game. Drawing inspiration from the client’s focus on teamwork, we asked groups to work together to create their own mousetrap chain reaction from recycled materials.
We cast expert motivational Emcee Barry McLeod as the leader of this bespoke team building exercise, whom proved to be a perfect match for the ethos of the group.
For the second phase of the event, we transformed a second space into 1960’s Mo-town. Here the team enjoyed a three-course gala dinner amidst authentic 60’s décor, furniture and a surprise performance from the fantastic female trio ‘The Super Supremes’.

They came to us seeking a new vision for the conference including finding the right venue, creating an event concept, structuring the day into a cohesive and inspiring format and designing a gala dinner experience.
