Vidcon Australia for YouTube

The Challenge

VidCon is a world-wide Community Festival, Creator Conference, and Industry Summit all wrapped up into one amazing experience! When VidCon came to Australia YouTube were proud to be involved and add their usual flair to the three days of activities.

The Creation

YouTube supported by Fourth Wall delivered two spaces at this highly anticipated experience. A Fan space on the general public floor and a YouTube Lounge, with a dual purpose.

The Fan Space featured an array of selfie opportunities; a hashtag Swing Set, the YouTube Bus, a giant Ball Pit and the ever popular Swag Tunnel. It was two days of interactive fun and the YouTube Fan space was the place to go, be seen and grab a selfie or two, at VidCon 2018.

YouTube and Fourth Wall also created a space that was known as the ‘YouTube Lounge’. On the first evening we produced a welcome reception and on the second night, an industry party, for the local and international Creators. During the day, the Lounge became a chillout space where Creators could relax, network and conduct their media interviews.

The YouTube Lounge featured; Artwork by Brett Chan, an array of delicious food, curated by Bondi Harvest and some cool tunes by Damilou Shavelle & DJ Alice Ivy.

The Outcome

4,000 people came and interacted with the brand, the spaces and the lucky ones even got a few select YouTube swag items!
