By reducing the number of guests this event has become the must-have ticket. The guest list is a who’s who of the industry with increased sponsor involvement and value. While other awards compete in similar markets, this event remains at the top of the list even after 25 years.
We implemented a number of ground-breaking changes to both events. These included: change of format from a sit-down dinner to a theatre-style show in Melbourne and a stand up event in Sydney; design changes to reflect current trends of food and beverage design; and most importantly, tightly producing, scripting and directing every single aspect of the event to ensure the night was one that any restaurateur would be proud of.
Each year a new approach is taken to ensure a fresh delivery of the events through changing venues, change in format, tight scripting and directing of all aspects.
We have produced the Good Food Guide Awards in Melbourne for many years, and in Sydney for the even longer.
The yearly brief is to create the ‘food industry’s Oscars’ - an event that will always reinvigorate the awards, increase ‘talkability’ and sponsor retention, and to ultimately celebrate the incredible food that both cities have to offer.
