Two Words For Tomorrow for GE
The Challenge
This campaign was to herald the arrival of GE to Australia, and to initiate a conversation around how GE - who exist in many different areas - can help solve some of the world’s toughest problems.
The findings from this undertaking enabled GE to shape its long-term business plans, innovation agenda, and partnerships in Australia.
The Creation
Fourth Wall created ‘Two Words For Tomorrow’, which was a multi-faced socially interactive campaign.
The initial touch-point for the project was a sophisticated website built by Future Buro, that invited Australians to share their own two words. Other contact points for word collection were an interactive Facebook app, and interactive polling installations that toured major capital cities.
Fourth Wall worked alongside The One Centre - part of The Collective of Creators - to be responsible for the design, experience, production, logistics, site management and technology of the polling stations.
Consisting of two large weatherproof high resolution LED screens and eight iPad touchscreen kiosks, the public were invited to contribute their ‘Two Words for Tomorrow' to the campaign.
In real-time, their input was assessed and added to a live visualisation by an external company called The Field.
The Outcome
The 'Two Words for Tomorrow' national poll was conducted over three months between March and June. Being involved in this unique, high-tech and engaging outdoor campaign was a highlight for us, especially considering the results included more than 16,800 responses being collected from across the country, with the campaign and its results receiving widespread coverage from major Australian media outlets.
