Fourth Wall Events Pty Limited and its trademarked trading names (which are owned by Fourth Wall Events Pty Limited) operate as per the Privacy Policy below and as a group are referred to as Fourth Wall.
We respect your privacy
Fourth Wall respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and website visitors. We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information.
“Personal information” is information we hold which is identifiable as being about you.
Fourth Wall is a Data Processor on behalf of our Clients
Personal Information provided to Fourth Wall through the registration process is collected on behalf of our Client (the Data Controller). Fourth Wall provides this information to the Client at their request. We care about your security, and only provide this information in a secure, encrypted format.
Fourth Wall is a Data Processor for the purposes of providing interactive event services on behalf of the Client. Personal Information provided through the registration process and by the Client is used for the provisioning, maintenance and delivery of these services.
Fourth Wall has a number of technology delivery partners for the purpose of providing these services, including but not limited to web portal viewing, two-factor authentication and an interactive app. Only Personal Information essential to the performance of these services is delivered to these partners for the purposes of providing these services. This is provided in a secure, encrypted format, as described in the Technology Delivery Partners section below.
Collection of personal information
Fourth Wall will, from time to time, receive and store personal information you enter onto our website, provided to us directly or given to us in other forms.
We also collect information because it is necessary to deliver event services, our clients instruct us to collect it, you have consented, and/or we have a legal obligation to.
You may provide basic information such as your full name, mobile number, address and email address to enable us to send information, provide updates and provide interactive event services. We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback, interact with the app, change your preferences, respond to surveys, or communicate with our customer support.
Additionally, we may also collect any other information you provide while interacting with us.
Identity information
For some project or client engagements, we may collect government-issued identification or other identity verification information (such as passport details, driver’s licence details, visa information or other identification documents) where required by our Client, venue operators, security requirements or applicable law.
We only collect this information where reasonably necessary for the delivery of our services. Identity information is protected using enhanced security measures, access is restricted to authorised personnel, and the information is securely destroyed or returned when no longer required.
Some projects also require us to collect sensitive information — for example, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, or health information relevant to attendance. Where we collect sensitive information, we do so only with your consent and only where it is reasonably necessary to deliver the event services on behalf of our Client. Sensitive information is afforded a higher level of protection under the Australian Privacy Principles, and we limit access to it, retain it only for as long as needed, and dispose of it securely.

Disclosure of your personal information
We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Personal information is only supplied to a third party when it is required for the delivery of our services and only when their Privacy Policy is compliant to ours.
We may from time to time need to disclose personal information to comply with a legal requirement, such as a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, warrant, in the course of a legal proceeding or in response to a law enforcement agency request.
We may also use your personal information to protect the copyright, trademarks, legal rights, property or safety of Fourth Wall, eventcast.net.au, its customers or third parties.
If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer to the extent permissible at law our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.
By providing us with personal information, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the types of disclosure covered by this Policy. Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will request that the third party follow this Policy regarding handling your personal information.
Storage and overseas handling of your personal information
We store personal information on systems located in Australia. Where personal information is, or may be, stored or processed outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient handles that information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we only transfer it in a secure, encrypted format and where necessary to deliver our services.
Security of your personal information
Fourth Wall is committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
Retention and disposal of your personal information
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed to deliver the event services for which it was collected, or for as long as required under our agreement with the relevant Client or by law. When personal information is no longer required for these purposes, we destroy or de-identify it securely so that it cannot be reconstructed or recovered. Where we hold personal information as a Data Processor, we return or destroy that information at the direction of the relevant Client (the Data Controller) at the conclusion of the engagement.
Data breaches
Fourth Wall maintains procedures to detect, assess and respond to data breaches. If we become aware of a data breach involving personal information, we will act promptly to contain and assess it.
Where we hold personal information as a Data Processor on behalf of a Client, we will notify the affected Client (the Data Controller) without undue delay so that the Client can meet its own notification obligations and we will cooperate with the Client’s response.
Where Fourth Wall has obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) — that is, where a breach is likely to result in serious harm to affected individuals — we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) and affected individuals as required by law.
Access to your personal information
You may request details of personal information that we hold about you in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A small administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information. If you would like a copy of the information which we hold about you, or believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please email us at creations@fourthwall.com.au.
We reserve the right to refuse to provide you with information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act.

Please check back from time to time to review our Privacy Policy.
